Core idea: After a vocabulary item has been repeated several times, the active memory check begins. This is where the system tests whether the vocabulary item is becoming stable in memory.
1. This is how you bring the language to life
2. Memory testing using the 4-stage memory model
3. “Learning” is the first phase
4. Each vocabulary item appears at least 3 times. This repetition forms the basis for stronger memory retention.
5. Start: “Practicing”. Here, 5 new vocabulary items are processed one after another (counter 0/5).
6. Transition to the “Consolidating“ phase
7. Start: “Consolidating”. Then 7 vocabulary items are processed (counter 0/7).
8. Transition to the “Learned” phase
9. The transition between phases is controlled by memory check cards
10. There are a total of 3 memory checks. If a vocabulary item passes all checks, it becomes qualified for mastery
11. The number of vocabulary items that completed all learning phases is shown in the “Learned” phase
This process follows the 4-stage memory model. Each vocabulary item passes through several memory checks at different time intervals. The color-coded phases always show where the vocabulary item is in the learning process. Once all learning phases have been completed successfully, the vocabulary item becomes qualified for mastery and can later be confirmed through a written or digital test.
The learning flow is intentionally simple and consists of two steps:
• Step 1: Tap (Show translation / Continue). This moves the vocabulary item through the learning cycle.
• Step 2: Memory check (Do you still remember?).
