6.10 Quick Start for Free Sample Lesson: 5 Sentences

Quick Start with the sample lesson from chapter 6.8.

In this step, you will see how to scan the lesson sheet from chapter 6.8 and immediately test the Dikiwi app yourself.

With a simple photo, the sample lesson sheet is transformed into a complete vocabulary set. Azure AI automatically analyses the table and recognises the sentence pairs. The new set “First sentences practice” then appears in the dashboard and is immediately ready for learning.

Important: The set is only actually created after a successful scan. This prevents empty sets from being created if a document is not recognised.

What makes this step special:

This is a special quick-start scenario for testing the Dikiwi app with the sample lesson sheet from chapter 6.8.

You use the lesson sheet from chapter 6.8 and import the sentences automatically by scanning it. At the same time, you can see that landscape format works just as reliably.

This allows you to try the app yourself with real learning content within just a few minutes.
Important:

The table does not need to be perfectly aligned.

Whether the photo is taken in portrait or landscape format, Dikiwi automatically recognises the table.

Minor tilts and different distances are usually not a problem.

If a document is not recognised, the message “No table found!” will appear. In that case, simply scan the document again.

This example deliberately demonstrates the error case.

Now you can try the sample lesson yourself and experience the learning process firsthand.
